Regional League 2026 – We’ve entered four teams in this year’s regional league: Mixed A, Mixed B Blue, Mixed B Red, and Men’s B Singles. Thank you to the team captains for all their organisation so far. This week’s home matches are: Mixed A on Thursday at 7pm and Mixed B Red on Friday at 7pm. Please come along and show your support.

Social Club Nights – Our club nights for May take place on Wednesday 14th & Thursday 28th May.  A message will be shared on our community WhatsApp group at the beginning of the week with details on when you can book your place via e-booking.

Winter League phase 2 – We’re delighted to be hosting the Phase 2 Winter League Finals next weekend, 9th–10th May. This is a great opportunity to showcase our club and our members. Please get involved where you can by helping with catering.

Adult Coaching – A new 5 week term of adult coaching will be announced on Tuesday 5th May via our WhatsApp group. Monday 6-7pm WTN 32-40; Monday 7-8pm WTN 26-31.99; Wednesday 6-7pm Cardio; Saturday 10-11am WTN 26 – 31.99 – Doubles match play – team up with your regular partner, sharpen your tactical skills, and compete to win. Sign up as a pair. Saturday 11-12pm Novice.

Whitechurch TC Box Ladders – The deadline for Round 5 of the Mixed and Singles ladders is May 31st. We hope everyone can complete their matches by then. I will share a poll to see if players would like the ladders to continue over the summer. Round 2 of the Women’s Flex Ladder is still ongoing, so please make sure to complete your matches.

Senior Doubles Open – As previously communicated, a huge thank you to every member who helped in any way to make this year’s Open such a success, it was a real team effort. Next on the senior calendar is our Singles Open, taking place from 28th August to 5th September.

Adult Hitting – Hitting sessions continue weekly. For those who haven’t participated yet, please reach out to John Byrne, and he’ll add you to the WhatsApp group. Thanks again to John for coordinating. 

Junior Coaching, Events & News 

Tennis Munster Spring Junior Regional Leagues 2026 – Our U14 Blue regional league team has reached the semi-finals and will play Kilkenny away. We wish them the best of luck, and thank you again to non-playing captain Alison for all her work in organising.

Tennis Munster Primary Schools Finals 2026 – We are delighted to be hosting the Primary Schools Finals on 20th May. We wish the Whitechurch NS boys’ team the very best of luck in their semi-final, which takes place next week.

Junior Club Closed 2026 –  We are currently planning our Junior Club Closed, with proposed dates of 18th–21st June. If there are any parents who would like to join the junior subcommittee and help run this event, as well as other junior activities, please get in touch, we’d be delighted to have your support

Junior Opens 2026 – As you may know, last year we held our first T100 event, which proved to be a huge success. This year we’ve added to our junior calendar and will also be running a T200 event. The T200 takes place on 24th, 25th and 26th July, and the T100 takes place on 25th, 26th and 27th September.

These are great opportunities for our members to compete locally without having to travel too far. As with all events, help is required. As previously requested, please get in touch if you are available and willing to be part of the organising committee.

Whitechurch TC Junior Box Ladder – The deadline for Round 2 of the ladders is May 25th. Please ensure all juniors make every effort to have their matches completed by this date.

Summer Camp 2026 –  A date for our summer camp will be announced this week.

Junior Coaching – We hope everyone is enjoying the new coaching term, which runs until the week commencing Monday, 9th June.

Junior Hitting Practice – Supervised hitting takes place every Wednesday during the coaching term. Please book your place via e-booking.
