Senior Events & News 

Winter League phase 2 – Best of luck to our remaining teams! Our XD3 team will play their quarter-final at home on 12th April, while our XD1 team have their final group-stage fixture on 19th April, a win will see them qualify for the semi-finals.

Regional League 2026 – Last chance to complete the Expression of Interest form on the community WhatsApp group. Last year, Whitechurch won the Division A Mixed Doubles title, it would be fantastic to bring home another trophy this year. Don’t forget, there are both Singles and Mixed Doubles events available.

Social Club Nights – Please note that, due to Easter and our Open tournament, there will be just one club night in April, taking place on Thursday 16th April.  A message will be shared on our community WhatsApp group at the beginning of the week with details on when you can book your place via e-booking.

Tie Break Tens – The final session in the Tie Break Tens series takes place on Thursday 9th April from 7–9pm. Find a partner for the evening, it’s the perfect opportunity to practice tie breaks ahead of the Open season! Booking opens Monday 6th April via e-booking.

Whitechurch TC Box Ladders – The completion date for Round 4 of the Mixed and Singles ladders has been extended to 11th April. Hopefully, everyone will have a chance to complete their matches over the Easter period. Round 5 will begin after our Open and will run until June. At that point, I will share a poll to see if players would like the ladders to continue over the summer. Round 2 of the Women’s Flex Ladder also gets underway this week.

Senior Doubles Open – Our Senior Doubles Open is now less than 4 weeks away! The tournament committee is working hard behind the scenes to plan and prepare what we hope will be a fantastic 9 days of tennis. Please keep an eye on our WhatsApp group for calls for help, no experience is necessary, and all support is appreciated!

Adult Hitting – Hitting sessions continue weekly. For those who haven’t participated yet, please reach out to John Byrne, and he’ll add you to the WhatsApp group. Thanks again to John for coordinating. 

Adult Coaching – A new term of adult coaching will be announced on Monday 13th April via our WhatsApp group. We plan to continue with the same times and groups, though, as always, these will be reviewed based on demand.

Junior Coaching, Events & News 

Junior Coaching – Our next term of junior coaching begins the week commencing Monday 13th April. All classes are available for registration via e-booking. We kindly ask that all returning participants complete their registration by Wednesday 8th April. This allows us time to allocate courts and ensures our coaches can plan their working schedules. 

Tennis Munster Spring Junior Regional Leagues 2026 – All three teams are currently competing in their group stages, best of luck to them all! Hopefully, we’ll make it through to the knockouts. Many thanks to our non-playing captains for their hard work in organising the fixtures.

Tennis Munster Summer Cup 2026 – We would love to be in a position to enter teams in the Summer Cup; however, we are currently short on girls across all age groups. If you are part of our coaching squads, we would really encourage you to consider representing Whitechurch in this competition and put your name forward. If you know of any girls from other clubs who might be interested in joining a Whitechurch team, please feel free to DM.

Whitechurch TC Junior Box Ladder – Round 1 of the Ladder kicks off this week! Please try to get your matches played, the Easter period is the perfect opportunity.
