It’s been a busy few weeks for the club. Our Junior Closed took place over the weekend of Friday 29th/Saturday 30th Aug, 60 of our juniors participated. Thanks to all the parents who helped & spectated. We had a late addition to the tournament calendar, our Singles Open, which was a huge success. 180 players from across Munster took part. Well done to our own club members who played and of course to our winners – Domi, Nicole & Yvonne!! We followed this with our Senior Closed. 120 members played outstanding tennis throughout the whole week, well done to everyone.
Thank you to every single member that helped in anyway to ensure all these events were a success.
Upcoming Senior Events
Social Club Nights – Thursday 2nd October & Wednesday 16th October. A message will go out on our community whatsapp group at the beginning of the week to advise when you can book your place on ebooking.
Whitechurch TC Box Ladders – This year we will run Ladies, Men’s & Singles ladders. These will open for entry on Tournament Software (TS) on Monday 6th October. More information will follow.
Winter League phase 1 – If you would like to be considered for selection please complete the expression of interest form sent out via WhatsApp on Monday 15th September.
Adult Coaching – Still some spaces available for a 6 week term which starts Monday 15th September. Register/pay on ebooking.
Upcoming Junior Events
T100 Junior Open – Friday 26th – Sunday 28th September, entry closes on Tuesday 16th September.
Regional/Premier Junior Winter Leagues – We have entered 3 teams, U18 in the premier league and U12 & U14 in the regional league.
Junior Coaching – Coaching has now commenced and runs right up to the Halloween break. The last term of 2025, will be 6 weeks, further information will follow in October.
