Whitechurch Tour 500 Doubles Open in association with Coleman Property Auctioneers -The wait is over, our Open begins this month. We’ve had a huge entry, to date over 450 players from across Munster will be playing in Whitechurch. This is a great opportunity to showcase our wonderful club & members. This week on Friday 4th April we have our “Clean-up evening” from 5pm. We’re asking all our members to pick up a cleaning/gardening/painting tool instead of a racket for one evening only!! 

Club Nights – Our club nights for the month of April are on Thursday the 3rd & 17th from 7-9pm. A poll goes up on our WhatsApp community group on the Monday of the week; tick the poll if you wish to attend. These are a great way to get to know other members of the club, especially if you are new to the club. On the night, you will be paired with players of similar ability and play some matches. Afterwards, we have a cuppa/biscuit and chat.

Winter League Phase 2 2025 – We entered 6 teams into this phase, our XD6 Novice are still competing in their group, with one more match to go. Unfortunately our XD2 team were beaten in the knockouts stages. Well done to all the teams that competed in this phase. 

Whitechurch TC Box Ladders – All the adult ladders have finished for now. With the Open season in full swing, there will be plenty of opportunity for competitive play. Have a look at the tournament calendar and pencil in the entry opening dates. The ladders will resume again in September. Junior singles ladder round 3 still ongoing, ending 9th April. 

Junior News – A huge congratulations to our U16 team that won the KBS Cup in Carrigaline. This was a great achievement for this team, who have played together in several competitions over the last few years.

Junior Tournament Hitting – Friday’s 3-4pm & Saturday’s 11-12am. This is a new initiative, a message goes out on the junior WhatsApp group every Tuesday @4pm when sign-up is available on e-booking. Any questions about your child’s suitability, please contact either Cillian or Domi and they will advise. 

Junior Easter Camp – Our Easter camp will take place from Monday 14th – Friday 18th April. We have 2 camps, mornings for those aged 5-9 and afternoons for those aged 10+. Limited places available, contact the club if interested in participating. If any of our junior members age 15 or above would be interested in helping during our camps, please send you details to the club email.
