Winter League Phase 1 24/25 – What a weekend we had at the Winter League finals in Nenagh Tennis Club. Our Grade 1, Grade 5 and Novice Grade 6 men’s teams were all crowned Munster Champions. To mark this success we are inviting all club members to join in the celebrations taking place this Thursday 6th in the club house, coinciding with our club night. 

Winter League Phase 2 2025 – We entered 6 teams into this phase, our XD3 ,XD4, XD5 & XD 6 were unfortunate not to progress out of their respective groups. The XD2 & XD6 Novice are still competing in their groups, hopefully they will progress to the knockouts. 

Women in Sport week – To celebrate all our wonderful women in the club, we are holding a night on Friday 7th March from 7-8pm, please come and join for a game of tennis & a cuppa afterwards. 

Club Nights – Our club nights for the month of March are on Thursday 6th & Thursday 20th from 7-9pm. A poll goes up on our admin WhatsApp group on the Monday of the week, You tick the poll if you wish to attend. These are a great way to get to know other members of the club, especially if you are new to the club. On the night you will be paired with players of similar ability and play some matches, afterwards we have a cuppa/biscuit and chat. 

Junior News – Our U16 team are through to the final of the KBS Cup, to be played on March 23rd in Carrigaline Tennis club. We wish them the very best of luck. The U12 team are playing their semi final on Sunday 9th March in the Pet Essentials Plate. Lets hope they can make it to finals day also. Hard  luck to the U14 & U18 teams that competed in the Munster Cups. 

Whitechurch Tour 500 Doubles Open in association with Coleman Property Auctioneers – Delighted to say that Coleman Property Auctioneers have partnered with us again this year. We’d like to thank them for their sponsorship. If any of our members would be interested in taking individual court sponsorship, please contact the club. As always, the open requires many helpers throughout the week. We will be reaching out to all members in due course, please keep the dates free. Friday 25th April – Saturday 3rd May. 

Senior Opens – The open season has now begun, please check the calendar so you are aware of the dates and when entry opens. This year, like last year, will see grades 6-3 closing very quickly. If you need any assistance in finding a partner, please let me know.

Whitechurch TC Box Ladders – Singles ladder is in round 3, ending 28th March. Ladies & Mens Doubles ladders are in round 4, ending 17th March. Please do your best to play your matches by these dates. Junior singles ladder round 3 commenced, ending 9th April.
